Internet Scam

I've been using internet for about 10 years now. Thru those years I've come across wiv some internet scammers who tried to scam money from me. Know what scammers means? A SCAMMER is someone who draws your trust and then attempts to extort money out of you. I would like to share to one of my experience with those scammers. I met someone by the name of Johnson thru one of the internet site. He introduced himself as a widowed who lost his wife cause of a road accident and have one child. He told me that he is looking for a woman who want to share her life wiv him, i.e. as his wife. He said he is a successful engineer and lives wealthy. I can also see that he is a very good looking man and I feels very excited thinking that I have finally met someone good looking as well as wealthy too. We always exchange mails and thru his mail he told me that he likes me very much and ask if I want to be his wife. Even though I was excited about his proposal, I didnt immediately say yes, instead I told him that if he wants to marry me, he must come over to meet me in Malaysia. He said he will come over to meet me in my country but before that he wants to send some valuable presents for me. And said he will call me as soon as he sent the things for me. One day I got a call from him telling me that the goods have arrived and it was stuck at the airport cos it has to be clarified by the custom officers. Meaning that taxes are charged to the goods that he is sending me. He called and said I have to help pay for the taxes cos it is under my name. And the amount is about $10K. He also told me the amount of goods that he sent me is more than the taxes so he said if I pay for the taxes I can get my money back. Even though Im excited about taking the goods that he sent me it doesnt mean that I am willing to pay for it. I told him that I will only pay for it if I can see the goods. But he still insists that I have to pay for the taxes as the goods are under my name. And he also told me that if I dont have $10K I can pay $3K. But still I dont want to pay for it as Im not sure that if it is real or not. He was really pissed off when I dont want to pay for the goods and said I dont deserve him. I just told him that I dont care about what he thinks of me and just continue wiv my decision. He never call me again after that. About a month later, two women I knew from FB told me that she was conned by someone she knew from one of the internet site. The case is jut like mine. I am glad that I didnt give in to the scammer. If not, the same thing would happen to me.
